Copyright and image use
This page distinguishes original He Ara Angitū material from third-party research and linked media.
Original proposal material
Copyright is claimed in the original proposal text, website design, diagrams, graphics and their selection and arrangement, except where a third-party source is clearly credited. The project was developed with disclosed AI assistance under the direction and final editorial control of Christopher Laidlaw.
Notice: © 2026 Christopher Laidlaw. All rights reserved except where another licence or rights-holder is stated.
What the notice does
Copyright protection in New Zealand generally arises automatically when an original work is created. The notice is not required to create copyright; it identifies the rights claim, the year and the person asserting ownership.
Third-party sources
Research papers, videos, logos and external publications remain the property of their respective rights-holders. The evidence library normally links to the lawful source rather than re-hosting the document. A link does not transfer copyright or imply endorsement.
Permission requests
Requests to reproduce an original He Ara Angitū figure or substantial passage should be sent to the project contact address. Short quotations for criticism, review or reporting may be permitted by law, but users remain responsible for their own use.
Important qualification
This notice records the project's copyright position; it is not legal advice and does not override the terms of any AI service, commissioned work agreement or third-party licence.
